Terms of Service

These terms govern bookings and use of The Freeme Space, 16A Nike Art Gallery Road, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. Booking constitutes acceptance.

A deposit holds a date for a maximum of 72 hours. If payment terms are not met within 72 hours, the hold is released.

Full payment (booking fee + VAT + caution fee) must clear before the session begins.

Bookings above ₦5,000,000: minimum 60% upfront to confirm; full balance must clear before session start.

Accepted: card, NGN/USD bank transfer, USDC (Solana/Ethereum), Bitcoin. Crypto payments are final once confirmed on-chain (refunds, where due under the ladder below, are settled by bank transfer in NGN equivalent).

7+ days notice: full refund less 10% administrative fee

3–6 days notice: 50% refund

Under 3 days: no refund

Refunds, where due, are processed within 10 business days.

One free reschedule with 7+ days notice, to a new date within 60 days, subject to availability.

3–6 days notice: rescheduling at management discretion; may incur a fee.

Under 3 days: no rescheduling; cancellation ladder applies.

Refundable security deposit, returned within 48 hours of post-session inspection, minus the documented cost of any damages.

Sessions start and end at booked times; overtime billed in hourly increments at prevailing rates, subject to availability. Load-in/load-out counts as booked time unless agreed in writing.

Client responsible for guests, crew, and vendors. No smoking inside studios (terrace only). Capacities respected (soundstage 450 standing; event lounge 50). We may stop any session endangering people, equipment, or the facility, without refund.

House equipment operated by or under supervision of our staff unless agreed in writing. Client liable for damage caused by client, guests, or vendors at repair/replacement cost (offset first against caution fee).

Personal items and client equipment on premises at client's own risk. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the booking concerned. No liability for indirect or consequential losses.

Client owns all content created in their session. We may request permission to feature sessions on our channels; never posted without consent.

Redundant power (dual generators + solar); continuous supply committed during sessions. Neither party liable for events beyond reasonable control; affected sessions rescheduled in good faith.

A signed proposal or contract overrides these standard terms for that booking only.

Laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; Lagos State courts, after good-faith amicable resolution attempt.
